La dernière paire est formée dans la couche du haut et s'insère par R U' R' (ou F' U F de l'autre main) ; les arêtes du haut sont orientées. L'algorithme insère la paire et oriente les coins : il ne reste qu'une PLL. 27 cas par main.

Comment lire cette page

Chaque cas est vu de trois quarts : faces du haut, avant et droite, et en bandes plates les autocollants arrière et gauche de la couche du haut.
Couleurs : jaune en haut, bleu devant, rouge à droite. En gris, ce que le cas ne regarde pas.
Longueurs en HTM : un tour de face ou un tour large compte 1, une tranche 2, une rotation 0. La « préparation » (souvent un tour de U) sert à présenter le cube comme sur le dessin et ne compte pas.
Dans chaque cas, le meilleur algorithme optimal disponible vient en premier, puis les autres par score de facilité croissant. Sans écriture optimale disponible, tous sont classés par ce score (plus bas = plus facile).
« Jouer » part d’un état du cas et exécute l’algorithme jusqu’au but du jeu. Le plus souvent, le départ est obtenu en jouant l’algorithme à l’envers depuis le puzzle résolu. Pour un but partiel, le lecteur peut partir d’un état représentatif du cas dans l’application ; le puzzle n’est pas nécessairement entièrement résolu à l’arrivée.
